Indications and materials
infiniDent offers the right material for every indication:
VITA In-Ceram 2000 YZ is recommended for the following indications:
- Anterior crown copings
- Posterior crown copings
- Anterior bridge frameworks with up to two pontics
- Posterior bridge frameworks with up to two pontics
- Customized models created using the WaxUp 3D Software
Irrespective of the total number of units, two-pontic bridges can be created within a maximum anatomical length of 40 mm.

VITA In-Ceram Classic ALUMINA is recommended for the following indications:
- Anterior crown copings
- Posterior crown copings

In the case of In-Ceram ZIRCONIA and ALUMINA, crown copings and bridge frameworks can be created within a maximum anatomical length of 40 mm, irrespective of the total number of units.

VITA In-Ceram Classic SPINELL is recommended for the following indications:
- Anterior crown copings
- Posterior crown copings (but only in certain limited cases)
SIRONA inCoris NP is recommended for the following indications:
- Anterior crown copings
- Posterior crown copings
- Anterior bridge frameworks with up to 8 units*
- Posterior bridge frameworks with up to 8 units*
* irrespective of the number of pontics
Irrespective of the number of units, the minimum connector cross-section SIRONA InCoris NP is 5 mm2.
For reasons of structural stability we recommend elliptically shaped connectors (see illustration). This applies equally to metallic and ceramic bridge frameworks.
Preparation guidelines for ceramic materials
Ceramic crown and bridge frameworks require a chamfer or shoulder preparation. The shoulder width should be at least 1 mm. Tangential preparations are contra-indicated for ceramic materials.

Chamfer, shoulder and tangential preparations can be created for metallic crown and bridge frameworks.
